A breathtaking wedding surrounded by nature
Home and Away actress Maddison Brown has officially married her longtime fiancé, fellow actor Simon Mead, in a picturesque ceremony set against the spectacular mountain scenery of Queenstown, New Zealand.
The Melbourne-born actress, 29, shared the joyful news with fans on Sunday, posting a collection of heartfelt wedding photos that captured the couple’s first kiss as husband and wife in one of New Zealand’s most breathtaking landscapes.

A day filled with love and unforgettable moments
For the special occasion, Maddison wore a classic white wedding gown, while Simon looked elegant in a tailored black tuxedo.
The newlyweds appeared overjoyed as they embraced beneath the dramatic mountain backdrop, soaking in every moment of the celebration with family and friends.
Keeping her announcement simple but heartfelt, Maddison captioned the images:
“I do, forever.”
Celebrity friends share their congratulations
The announcement was quickly met with an outpouring of love from friends and fellow Australian celebrities.
Television presenter Kylie Gillies congratulated the newlyweds, while podcaster Brittany Hockley described the wedding as “stunning.” Model and entrepreneur Steph Claire Smith also praised the breathtaking ceremony.
The warm messages reflected the affection many have for Maddison, who has built a successful career across television, film and business.

A joyful milestone after an emotionally difficult year
The wedding marks a particularly meaningful chapter following a challenging period in Maddison’s life.
In 2023, she co-founded skincare company Outside Beauty & Skincare with her sister, Allyson Popovic. While passionate about the business, Maddison later revealed the emotional toll of building the company from the ground up.
Last October, she shared an emotional video on social media, admitting she had reached the point of burnout after years of relentless work.
Opening up about burnout
Holding back tears, Maddison confessed that running a self-funded business had been far more demanding than she had ever imagined.
She explained that she and her sister had worked seven days a week for more than three years and had never taken a salary from the company, despite dedicating themselves completely to its success.
Although she often appeared confident and resilient publicly, Maddison admitted there were many private moments when the pressure became overwhelming.
She later revealed that she unexpectedly broke down while filming promotional content for the brand, describing herself as emotionally and physically exhausted.
From Hollywood to Home and Away
Before returning to Australia, Maddison spent almost a decade living in the United States, where she gained international recognition starring as Kirby Anders in Dynasty and also appeared alongside Nicole Kidman in the 2015 film Strangerland.
She moved back to Australia in 2024 and soon joined the cast of Home and Away, taking on the role of Jo Langham.
Earlier in her career, Maddison also attracted media attention for her brief romance with Liam Hemsworth after the pair were photographed together in New York in 2019.
A new beginning
After a year marked by personal challenges, emotional honesty and career changes, Maddison Brown is now celebrating a much happier milestone.
Her wedding to Simon Mead represents not only the beginning of married life but also a fresh chapter after navigating one of the most demanding periods of her personal and professional journey.
