Strictly’s Vito Coppola issues ‘miss you’ message to co-stars after ‘last dance’ admission

Vito Coppola has already sent a ‘miss you’ message to his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars after they unexpectedly had their last dance on the show.
The professional dancer is currently competing in the BBC One dance contest alongside model and actress Ellie Goldstein, with the pair currently in training for week five of the 2025 series.
Ellie, the first person with Down syndrome to compete in the main series, and Vito were last seen in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 18) where they closed the show with their couple’s choice routine.
The performance was a celebration of Ellie, whose name was seen up in lights, as they danced to Golden by HUNTR/X from the Netflix hit film K Pop Demon Hunters and scored 31 out of a possible 40 points from the judges.
Vito has sine taken to social media with a video of the pair, in which they thanked Strictly fans for their votes, which has seen them successfully make it through to Icons Week, which takes place this Saturday (October 25).
It was alongside the Instagram video that Vito shared a gushing message and a vow to Ellie, as the Italian star wrote: “hank you thank you thank you beautiful people. Every week is just priceless for us… thanks to all your support and your love.”
He added: “To my little firefly: I am so proud of you and I have to thank you, because you are changing my life and the way I live it. Such a pure joy and I will always make sure to give you the best time.

“Love you so much my little sister.Your big brother is always by your side… forever! #cheekyteam.”
As well as supporting his own dance partner, Vito was also seen supporting his co-star and friend, Dianne Buswell, after her exit from Strictly’s 23rd series was confirmed.
It comes after Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis said he was ‘devastated’ to have to quit the popular programme after suffering a ‘significant injury’ during his latest performance.
The unfortunate news came after Stefan was forced to miss Strictly’s Movie Week special earlier this month due to illness, and he only resumed training last week before returning to the ballroom during last Saturday night’s (October 18) episode.
Taking to Instagram, Dianne shared a video captioned: “The Last Dance [face holding back tears emoji],” which showed the pair heading out onto the ballroom floor for what ended up being the last time.
Resharing the post to his own Instagram Story, Vito said: “Loved you two since the beginning [face holding back tears emoji]. Will miss you guys. Gorjiii @diannebuswell.”
Alongside the post, Dianne had originally written: “Stefo I’m so sorry our strictly journey was cut short just as that confidence was starting to grow.
“But you can walk away with your head held high. You can go home to your wonderful wife put your hand out and say would you like to cha cha cha with me.
“The main reason for being on this show was to be able to dance with her and you can certainly do that now. You are the kindest human I have ever worked with and I can always say I got to dance with the iconic Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis or as my dad calls ya Paul Robertson. Can’t wait for you to send me the video of you and Gail dancing together.”
