“QUEEN DIANA IS BACK” — Paris unveils a breathtaking new wax figure of Princess Diana in her unforgettable ‘revenge dress,’ leaving fans emotional as experts say the timing of this reveal carries a deeper meaning.

A new waxwork of the late Princess Diana has been unveiled in the Grevin Museum in Paris, with many royal watchers left scratching their heads over the comparison.

Diana has been immortalised wearing her famous ‘revenge dress’, which she famously wore in 1994, when news of her marriage breakdown with King Charles was in the headlines.

While some royal fans were delighted that the waxwork had finally been unveiled in the city where she died in 1997, others were quick to point out some strange details about the figure.

One person wrote on Reddit: “Apparently it’s very difficult to do a convincing Princess Diana,” while others likened the waxwork to actress Glenn Close, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and, awkwardly, to Queen Camilla.

Some were even more critical of the work, describing it to look like “Diana’s own evil twin”, a “mid-western divorced mum from the 1990s” and even “Judge Judy playing Diana for Halloween”.

The figure of Diana isn’t the only royal waxwork to garner attention for all the wrong reasons. One waxwork of Prince William at a museum in Poland was described as “a constipated Tony Blair”, a figure of King Charles looked like he was out of the uncanny valley, an a waxwork of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip was nothing other than frankly disrespectful.

Take a look at some of the worst wax figures of the royal family, which can be seen in museums around the world, below.
