Meghan Markle may withdraw from the public eye in 2026 as she faces what’s been termed “a significant shift” in her way of life, claims a psychic previously recognised for his startling predictions.
Athos Salome, dubbed the “living Nostradamus” after apparently foreseeing Queen Elizabeth’s passing, the Covid-19 outbreak and Elon Musk’s tech innovations, now suggests the Duchess of Sussex is moving towards a quieter phase after enduring professional pressure and intense public attention.
Speaking to Tyla Magazine, Salome revealed his vision for Meghan and Prince Harry’s future, describing “a clear professional separation between her and Harry, without necessarily implying marital rupture.” He predicted this “creative divorce” would materialise around 2026, with both choosing to pursue independent professional paths, developing their own brands and ventures separately.

Relations with the Royal Family will likely stay distant yet measured, Salome added, “not due to lack of tension, but because a renewed conflict would incur high reputational costs for both sides.”, reports the Express. Earlier this year, he had suggested Meghan’s public image would soon face its “toughest test”, saying: “I foresee explosive revelations from former staff or estranged allies. Criticism will reach a boiling point – and Meghan, in response, will retreat from the spotlight throughout 2026.”
Speaking to The Mail, he also predicted Meghan’s partnership with Netflix would come under increasing strain, with a “growing conflict” and “logistical setbacks” likely to hamper her other branded ventures, such as As Ever. According to Salome, Meghan’s step back from public life is anticipated to happen early in 2026, though it won’t be forever. She would, he suggests, resurface towards the year’s end with a refreshed professional direction, shifting away from lifestyle branding and wellness towards championing social causes instead.

He said: “Around the end of 2026, she will be back, but with a renewed focus on social causes – especially girls’ education and mental health.” Meghan will also ultimately return to acting, the psychic reports, but appearing in smaller-budget productions rather than major Hollywood blockbusters. Instead, he envisions her in “an independent film, directed by a renowned female filmmaker – possibly European or Iranian.
“Her role? A woman who abandons a life of privilege to rediscover her essence. A metaphor? Absolutely. A confession? Quite possibly,” he said, adding that her comeback would achieve critical acclaim around 2027. Other entertainment opportunities are also on the horizon, as Salome reveals she would move into becoming “a hands-on producer, away from the lifestyle aesthetic.”
