“Why did he abandon his car?”: Police reveal further MYSTERIOUS details in the search for a man in Western Australia, 42 days after he went missing near the Lancelin area

Police are investigating the disapperance of Western Australian man Luke Ben Hazelwood, who has not been seen or heard from since December last year.
Hazelwood was last seen outside a hotel on North Street near the Gingin Road intersection in Lancelin, 127 kilometres north of Perth, at about 5am on Wednesday, December 24.
The 32-year-old had been travelling in a purple/maroon Ssangyong Stavic station sedan, with the WA number plate ‘1GDR 454’, which was found abandoned in the hotel carpark.

Police hold concerns for Hazelwood’s welfare.
He is being described as about 185cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He is known to frequent Yanchep and surrounding areas but police believe he may have travelled beyond these locations.
Hazelwood was reported missing to police on January 5.
Police have allocated significant resources to the search but the 32-year-old has not been found.
Officers have appealed to residents in Lancelin and surrounding areas for information and CCTV footage, particularly between the hours of 5am and 8am on December 24.
