Princess Beatrice has reportedly decided not to see her father for his final Christmas in the Royal Lodge, after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s disgrace deepened following the release of the Epstein files
Princess Beatrice has reportedly decided to not see her disgraced parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson for Christmas this year, as the scandal surrounding their involvement with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein continues.
It has been reported that Beatrice, who is the eldest daughter of the former Duke and Duchess of York, turned down an invitation to join her parents for their final Christmas in the Royal Lodge before they are evicted in the new year. It is also understood that Beatrice was invited to spend the festive period with the Royal Family at Sandringham, but she declined.
Instead, she has reportedly decided to go skiing abroad with husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi and friends. Her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, is in a similar quandary and it is expected she will spend the festive period with husband Jack Brooksbank.
Beatrice’s snub is the latest in a long line of hits against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who had his royal titles stripped over his relationship with billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Beatrice reportedly sought advice from her friends over the decision to not see her parents for Christmas, as an insider told The Sun.
A friend of the princess told the publication: “Beatrice doesn’t want to cause any embarrassment and was torn between loyalty to the King and her parents. That is why with Eugenie they went to Buckingham Palace for the pre-Christmas family lunch.”
“She appreciates the way that the King and William have looked after her during everything that has been happening with Andy and Sarah. She didn’t want it to look like they were snubbing anyone so it was easier to go off with friends.”
The source added of the former prince Andrew : “With everything that’s gone, on he’s very much like the Grinch. It’s clear this year that festive cheer is in short supply.”

Prince William’s ‘awful gift’ for Kate that left her baffled
This time of year will mark a busy period of gift buying for Prince William. Not only does he have to organise Christmas presents for his family, including his wife Kate – he also has to buy something for her birthday.
Kate turns 44 just two weeks after Christmas – and there is no doubt he along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will want to pick her out something special.
But before having children, the Prince of Wales wasn’t always able to call on them for help, and it seems he previously struggled in the past when buying gifts for his beloved wife in the early days of their romance.

‘I met King Charles – it was a total disaster from the very start’
A reality TV star who met King Charles has told how it went wrong – he was late, forgot his invitation and then infuriated royal staff with his casual meeting.
Former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 33, attended an event at Buckingham Palace for the King’s Trust – a charity supporting young people into work. But the day started off badly and rapidly went downhill.
He was late because his pal Pete Wicks had been helping him choose a suit and doing up his tie. He was then further delayed because he forgot his invitation, and he had to persuade Palace security to let him in.

Harry and Meghan’s fresh plot to ‘cling onto royal power’
After a rollercoaster year of Netflix shows, boardroom battles, fashion week cameos and family health struggles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ending 2025 on a transformative note.
Addressing the future of their most precious work project in a rare joint statement, Meghan and Harry confirmed this week that their shared charity, the Archewell Foundation, will be renamed Archewell Philanthorpies – five years after its inception.
While a simple name change might seem insignificant on the surface, experts say the Sussexes’ strategic statement is oozing with tells on the couple’s next steps – particularly at a time where they are facing rumours of divorce, as well as rampant calls for their royal titles to be stripped.
