Pete Wicks’ rollercoaster love life – toxic romance and trail of broken-hearted exes

History appears to be repeating itself with Pete Wicks and Olivia Attwood. In another case of friends moving to something more for the TOWIE lothario, the two were spotted kissing on a cosy dinner date. It comes just weeks after Olivia’s painful split from husband Bradley Dack.

Eyes have been on Pete and Olivia and their close bond for months. Olivia’s husband Bradley was apparently left furious at photos of their Ibiza getaway last year where his bikini-clad wife was pictured laying across Pete as they spent the week partying together.

After laughing off rumours of a romance, Olivia and Pete were seen kissing in a packed room of diners in London’s Soho this weekend. Sources say a fully blown ‘fling’ started earlier this month.

Over the years Pete has managed to date a string of famous women that started off as close friends, including Jessica Wright, Chloe Sims, Megan Barton Hanson, Maura Higgins and Strictly’s Jowita Przystał.

We take a look back at his dating history…

Jessica Wright

Pete was first linked to the now married Jess back in 2015 just after he joined the cast of TOWIE. The pair immediately grew close but things ended when Jess had a drunken kiss with co-star Lewis Bloor.

Pete then admitted they were better off as friends as he said: “I think after the whole Lewis Bloor thing, it kind of made me realise I don’t want to fall out with her because I’ve always said I love her as a person. We nearly fell out over that, but we’re not really compatible relationship-wise. We’ll always have a bit of chemistry but we’re better off as friends.”

Megan Mckenna

Towie ‘power couple’ Pete and Megan McKenna had a tumultuous relationship that came to an explosive end in 2017 after Pete was caught out in a major cheating scandal. The long-haired lothario had been doing the dirty with multiple women, including sexting an ex girlfriend.

After his former partner got in touch with Meghan and shared with her all the details, she confronted her man on camera which ended in her screaming at him to ‘go be single.’

Pete later said the response to him cheating with multiple women had been hostile. “I was getting death threats daily, I had people spit at me in the streets, I had people send me videos of dolls they made hanging from trees that they were burning. I had a lot at the time, I felt like I was a national hate figure, like public enemy number one. But all I was bothered about at the time was Megan and the fact that I lost Megan and had upset her. I felt so so guilty, so so guilty.”

Megan moved on and had her first child Landon Henry with her fiancé Oliver Burke in 2024.

Shelby Tribble

Pete dated Shelby in 2018 with the two TOWIE stars embarking on a romantic relationship which ended when he was again caught sexting other women. Shelby admitted she struggled to get past his former relationship with Megan as she thought he was still hung up on her.

She told Closer: “To be honest, I always felt like I was living in Megan’s shadow because when we first got together he used to mention her a lot. My relationships have taught me not to change who you are for a man.”

Pete allegedly messaged one woman asking her to join the Mile High Club with him, and another he demanded to “stop putting up sexy pictures.” Shelby added: “I don’t know any of the girls personally but I was aware of them from Instagram, Shelby added, “There were a lot of messages – it wasn’t just with one or two girls, there were at least ten.”

Maura Higgins

Pete Wicks and Maura Higgins formed a close bond before crossing over into romance territory. However, the union was short-lived with the pair splitting over a series of “fiery arguments” and disagreements. The couple, who were close friends for years, decided to part ways on Valentine’s Day 2025. Maura was unhappy about finding messages on Pete’s phone from other women and accused him of cheating.

A source said at the time: “Maura fell for him very quickly and very hard – so for things to end so soon has been heartbreaking. But in any relationship, she needs to be able to trust someone 100 percent and she just couldn’t find that with Pete, so she had to end things.”

Immediately after their break-up, Maura made headlines as she was spotted kissing married McFly star Danny Jones at the BRIT Awards in 2025. Pete mocked the situation on his Staying Relevant podcast, stating “an awful lot happened at the BRITs” and choosing to “leave that there.”

Chloe Sims

Pete’s most controversial romance of all was his secret dealings with Chloe Sims. Pete admitted he had been sleeping with Chloe secretly for two years, but their romance ended when they had a bitter falling out.

Pete said there were ‘blurred lines’ throughout their courtship and added: “We haven’t been officially seeing each other but there’s definitely been times it’s been more than just a friendship.” In an episode of TOWIE, Pete even revealed a tattoo of Chloe’s name on his hand, telling her: “You are irreplaceable to me, so I might have got like a tattoo on my hand.”

Things came to an end when Pete failed to commit to mum-of-one Chloe and the pair cut off their ‘friends with benefits’ agreement.

Defending the way things fizzled out, Pete said: “We’re back to being mates again. Me and Chloe are really good. It’s been really nice to spend time with her again, I missed her. I’ve known her for such a long time and we’re such good friends.

“Obviously, we had whatever happened between us, but I think that’s all in the past. It’s nice we can go out and have a laugh together. I’ve done some filming for TOWIE with her and Diags and I love it. We’re genuine mates.”

However, Chloe took a different view and said she’d blocked him from all social media to cut off contact. She added, “I genuinely wasn’t doing it in a nasty way. I’ve had him muted for a long time and I just didn’t want to have him on there any more.”

Jowita Przystał

Pete Wicks and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Jowita Przystał developed a close friendship after being paired together on the hit BBC One show. This turned into intense romance rumours after a passionate on-stage kiss in September 2025. While fans speculated they were dating, Pete described Jowita as a close friend and said the kiss was just part of the choreography.

After months of rumours about their relationship, Pete was spotted locking lips with married Olivia Attwood this weekend. The KISS FM stars sent fans into a frenzy when they were spotted on Friday at a London bar where Pete had previously taken former flame, Maura Higgins.

They were seen together in Soho, in the capital on Friday night, in a dimly-lit bar, Flute. Their table was strewn with empty glasses, with the loved-up pair cosying up together as they looked at Olivia’s phone.

The couple, who work together on their podcast The Sunday Roast, were then seen locking lips, with friends saying their friendship has turned into an “unexpected romance”.

Sources say the Love Islander is “smitten” with the reality star, as they told Closer Magazine: “Olivia has always been drawn to Pete and carried a torch for him. If she wasn’t with him herself, she didn’t want anyone else to have him”.

Talking of their secret romance unfolding they added: “Olivia has fallen big time, she’s totally smitten with Pete. She’s always liked him – everyone can see the connection.”
