A New Chapter Four Years After Starting Over in the UK
After years of rebuilding her life, former Married At First Sight Australia star Olivia Frazer has officially found her happily ever after.
The 32-year-old reality TV personality has married her British partner, personal trainer and former footballer Greg Rutherford, marking a joyful milestone four years after beginning a fresh chapter in the United Kingdom.
For Olivia, the wedding represents far more than exchanging vows—it symbolises a life transformed after one of the most difficult periods she has ever faced.

A Secret Wedding Surrounded by Family
Long before their larger celebration in Britain, Olivia and Greg quietly became husband and wife during a trip back to Australia earlier this year.
Rather than choosing an extravagant venue, the couple opted for something deeply personal, saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony held inside Olivia’s mother’s living room.
Their closest relatives witnessed the emotional moment before everyone gathered to celebrate at what guests believed was simply an engagement party.
Sharing the story with fans, Olivia explained they wanted to complete the legal ceremony before hosting a bigger celebration overseas.
“Before our engagement party we decided to smash out the legal stuff and get married super low key in my mum’s living room,” she revealed.
A Dream Celebration in the English Countryside
The newlyweds later celebrated again with family and friends in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, where they hosted a beautiful English wedding filled with love and laughter.
Olivia looked radiant in a long-sleeved lace wedding gown as she posed alongside Greg in picturesque gardens, with the joyful photographs capturing a couple clearly excited for the future.
Adding a playful touch to the occasion, Olivia referenced Taylor Swift by captioning the wedding photos with lyrics from Blank Space: “So it’s going to be forever.”
She has also embraced married life by changing her surname on Instagram to Olivia Rutherford.

A Romance That Blossomed at Remarkable Speed
Olivia and Greg’s relationship moved quickly from the very beginning.
After meeting in September last year, the couple made their romance public only weeks later, with Olivia sharing affectionate photos of them together in the UK.
She jokingly described the post as “skipping straight to the hard launch,” while fans immediately noticed how happy she appeared.
Not long afterwards, Olivia was openly referring to Greg as “the love of my life.”
She has also hinted that the pair first connected through the dating app Hinge—a chance introduction that ultimately changed both of their lives.
Greg, a former footballer who now works as a personal trainer, is based in North East England, where Olivia has built her new life since relocating to Britain in 2023.
Leaving Behind the Pain of Married At First Sight
The happiness Olivia enjoys today stands in stark contrast to the difficult years that followed her appearance on Married At First Sight Australia.
She became one of the most talked-about contestants during season nine after being matched with Jackson Lonie, with their relationship continuing for months after filming before ending publicly in 2022.
Subsequent relationships also failed to last, leaving Olivia searching for a fresh beginning away from Australia.
Moving to the UK became that opportunity.
“The Show Ruined My Life”
Olivia has never hidden how deeply the reality series affected her personally and professionally.
Speaking on the Eyes Wide Open podcast in 2023, she admitted she believed the programme had completely changed the course of her future.
“I lost my whole career because of what they did to me on that show,” she said.
Before appearing on television, Olivia had been working as an administrative assistant in the English department at one of Australia’s most prestigious schools while studying to become a teacher.
She believed she was on track to secure her dream career in education.
However, after the programme aired, she felt that public perception made returning to teaching impossible.
“Because of what they portrayed on the show and subsequent articles that came out, there is no way I’ll ever be able to be a teacher,” she said with regret.
From Heartbreak to Happiness
Although Olivia has often described the years following Married At First Sight as some of the hardest of her life, her wedding to Greg marks a powerful new beginning.
From quietly exchanging vows in her mother’s living room to celebrating with loved ones in the English countryside, the former reality star has finally found the peace and happiness she spent years searching for.
And judging by the smiles shared throughout their celebrations, this new chapter may only be the beginning of an even brighter future together.
