Katie recently hopped on an empty flight to be with Lee

Speaking in a Facebook Reel, she said: “You know the saying – anyone would move mountains to be with the one they love? I am an example of that. I would get on an empty flight – technically where there’s a war going on – for love.

“So anyone who has got a long-distance relationship, they can work, although, I can’t be apart from Lee and he can’t be apart from me so we make it work to be together all the time.”

Despite Katie’s message, fans were instantly shocked by the video, as one wrote: “She actually pressed ‘post!'” and another begged: “Ooh stop it will you!” Several others wondered why Lee hadn’t come to the UK to visit her, but another said: “before the haters start hating, Katie, you enjoy your time away & take care of yourself xXx”.

Meanwhile, some grilled Katie as to why she has made the journey to Dubai and Lee is yet to jet to the UK. One asked: “Why doesn’t he ever come here can I ask x”. Another added: “No he should come to you !!!! What kind of man would make you fly to Dubai says it all”. A third said: “So how many times has he visited you in the UK then ??? not much mountain moving on his side”.

Despite concerns from the Foreign Office, Katie has stated that she feels “safe” in Dubai – just hours before a commercial ship was reportedly hit by an unknown projectile in the waters near Abu Dhabi.

Sharing a video on her Facebook page, Katie, recently she was in her “element” as she lay in bed, waiting for her husband to return with breakfast. “Good morning everybody, I’m here in Dubai,” she said, adding: “I’m so happy I’m here, so happy I’m here with Lee. In fact, he’s doing me breakfast in bed. Scrambled eggs and creme fraiche.

“I’m so content and so happy. There was a few little alarms last night on the phone, little warnings about… Warnings. But I never heard anything, this morning we did, got a warning, it wasn’t anywhere near us and wasn’t scared one little bit. I just feel safe here, I’m in my safe place with Lee and over the moon that I’m here.” Since the nuptials, Lee has been accused of being a conman, which he has denied.

He claimed on his LinkedIn to have had obtained a PhD from Cambridge University but the claims were later thwarted, and in recent days, Lee denied accusations he sent a voice note in which it was claimed he had begged for cash shortly before he staged the lavish proposal. Despite cocerns, Katie has since said she has seen proof that he is a millionaire.

Speaking out on the rumours, Katie recently appeared on Good Morning Britain where she insisted that it is not true that his PhD was from Cambridge, claiming that it came from Spain instead, and that her husband was in possession of a diplomatic passport.

She said: “Because it’s me, and the way I do things, I did want to keep it private because he’s not a famous person but he’s getting so much flak from speculation, conman, scam man, Jesus! I’ve seen what I want to see, people shouldn’t underestimate me, I just want people to be happy for me.

“He hasn’t got a PhD from Cambridge. It’s one in Spain. That’s for him to say why he’s got a PhD but it’s not from Cambridge, I don’t know where that came from, he’s not got a PhD in Cambridge at all.

“I’ve seen everything I need to see. On his, oh my God, is it a diplomatic passport, it’s Dr Lee Andrews. On his normal one, it’s Wesley Lee Andrews.”
