Wesley’s family confirmed he will be laid to rest next week
THIS is the first picture of the lorry driver who was tragically killed in the Meath road crash.
The horror collision involved a lorry, a bus and a car on the R132 in Gormanston, Co Meath, at around 6.30am on Monday.
Lorry driver Wesley O’Reilly, in his 40s, from Loughshinny near Skerries, north Co Dublin, and the bus driver, Paul Conway, in his 50s, of Tallanstown near Ardee, Co Louth, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver – a woman in her 40s – and a teenage girl passenger were taken to two separate hospitals with serious injuries.
Some passengers on the bus, a Bus Eireann Route 101 service, were also taken to hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Locals have paid a sweet tribute to the crash victims, leaving flowers and messages of condolences at the scene of the tragedy this morning.
As Ireland reels from the latest tragedy on our roads, Wesley’s relatives told how he would be “sadly missed” by his family.
A death notice said: “Reilly, Wesley (Wes)-(Loughshinny and late of Finglas, Dublin) unexpectedly 24th of November 2025.

His funeral is to be held on Monday in St Maur’s Church, Rush followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery.
Tributes have already poured in for both Wesley and Paul following the tragic crash, with locals reps yesterday describing the latest loss of life on Ireland’s roads as a “very dark day”.
Wesley was remembered as a “lovely man” by mourners today.
