Home and Away Star Maddison Brown Marries Simon Mead in Breathtaking Queenstown Ceremony

Home and Away actress Maddison Brown has married New Zealand actor Simon Mead in a picturesque ceremony surrounded by the dramatic mountain scenery of Queenstown.
The Melbourne-born star, 29, announced the happy news on social media on Sunday, sharing a collection of romantic photographs from the couple’s special day.
Maddison Brown Shares First Wedding Photos

In one of the images, Maddison and Simon could be seen sharing their first kiss as newlyweds against a spectacular natural backdrop.
Maddison wore an elegant traditional white wedding gown, while Simon looked polished in a tailored black tuxedo. The newly married couple appeared overjoyed as they embraced and took in the sweeping Queenstown landscape.
Keeping her announcement simple, Maddison captioned the gallery:
“I do, forever.”
The post quickly attracted congratulatory messages from friends and well-known Australian personalities.
Veteran television presenter Kylie Gillies offered her congratulations, while Brittany Hockley described the photographs as stunning. Steph Claire Smith also praised the breathtaking celebration.
A Joyful New Chapter After a Challenging Year

The wedding marks a particularly meaningful moment for Maddison following a demanding period in her professional life.
Alongside her acting career, she is the co-founder of Outside Beauty & Skincare, a business she launched with her sister Allyson Popovic in 2023.
In October, Maddison shared an emotional social media video in which she spoke openly about experiencing exhaustion and burnout while trying to build the self-funded company.
She explained that she and her sister had spent years working seven days a week without paying themselves, while facing the constant pressures involved in getting a new business off the ground.
Maddison admitted that although she often presented an image of confidence, success and determination, there were many difficult moments taking place away from public view.
She said the emotional video had been recorded after she sat down to film advertisements for the brand but suddenly became overwhelmed and could not stop crying.
From Hollywood to Summer Bay

Maddison previously spent around a decade living in the United States, where she built an international acting career.
She appeared in the television series Dynasty and starred alongside Nicole Kidman in the 2015 film Strangerland.
The actress returned to Australia in 2024 and later joined the cast of Home and Away as Jo Langham.
Maddison also attracted international attention in 2019 after she was romantically linked to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, with the pair photographed kissing during an outing in New York.
Her Queenstown wedding to Simon Mead now begins a joyful new chapter, with the couple’s intimate photographs capturing a celebration filled with love, natural beauty and quiet emotion.
