A body has been found after a fierce blaze ripped through a home in Sydney’s southwest overnight, leaving another two people injured.

Emergency services were called to the home on Corder Drive in Spring Farm just after 12.25am on Saturday.

The house was well alight when police and firefighters arrived, with flames engulfing the property.
A body was found inside the destroyed home after the fire was extinguished.
Police have confirmed a man in his 60s died in the blaze.

The two survivors were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“A crime scene has been established and police commenced an investigation into the incident,” NSW Police said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
