WA Police are investigating the sudden death incident and report will be prepared for the coroner.

On the eastern coast, police initially received a missing persons report about 4pm on Monday after two rock fishermen who had travelled from Southern Sydney to the South Coast failed to return home.

The body of a 53-year-old man was found on the rocky shoreline off Black Head Reserve in Gerroa on Sunday evening.

Two days later, the body of a 59-year-old man was found about 2.45pm north of the Black Head Reserve.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
