💍 Seven months after quietly saying “I do,” Davina McCall and Michael Douglas have celebrated their love all over again—this time with a much bigger celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Coming after a year marked by serious health challenges, the joyful day carried even greater meaning. But it wasn’t the stunning setting or the heartfelt ceremony that left guests talking.
Instead, one unexpected moment during the celebration became the surprise everyone remembered… ❤️
Davina McCall has married to her husband Michael Douglas for the second time in a lavish ceremony that took place at their home in Kent, just seven months after their first wedding
Davina McCall has married – again. The TV star, 58, married her husband Michael Douglas for the second time in a secret ceremony at their home in Kent, just seven months after getting married at Marylebone Town Hall amongst friends and family.
The second wedding was reportedly a much bigger celebration than the first, which came just weeks after Davina revealed she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery to remove a lump.
Sources say Davina and Michael “pulled out all the stops” for their second ceremony, and that the star looked “stunning” in her bridal gown. A source said: “They went all out and invited friends and family to a bigger second wedding celebration on Saturday.
“Davina looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown. The reception was all about fun. After a ceremony, they drove into the reception on a tuk-tuk which got everyone laughing and cheering.”
They went on to tell The Sun: “They had tipi tents erected and guests danced until the early hours. Davina and Michael really pulled out all the stops.”
The source also shared that the ceremony was “perfect” and “exactly what they wanted”. The venue was said to be a small place near their home, with couple once again choosing only to invite family friends. The source described it as “very intimate” and that, afterwards, they “just carried on with life”, even attending another friend’s wedding the next day.
Their first wedding took place in central London in December 2025. The couple shared pics from the steps of Marylebone Town Hall, the same venue that Dua Lipa and Callum Turner would later marry at.
In the pictures, Davina eschewed the traditional wedding dress for a white fur coat, a lace hat, and lace white tights. Meanwhile, Michael wore a pale blue blazer with navy trousers.
Davina’s wedding came after she shared with fans that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have surgery to remove a lump. This came after she had already undergone surgery to remove a benign tumour from her brain. Friends shared at the the time that her health troubles had spurred the couple into marrying.
Speaking in an Instagram video after receiving further treatment, she said: “I finished my radiotherapy today, and it was very, very emotional.”
Davina had to stop for a moment and held back tears as she added: “Much more emotional than I thought it would be. And I need a bit of positivity and brilliance, so I’m going to go and watch Julia Bradbury on Begin Again.”
The Mirror reached out to representatives for Davina for comment.
