Harry describes his job as ‘Prince of England’ and ‘Duke’ in podcast interview despite quitting Britain & royal life

PRINCE Harry has described his job as “Prince of England” and “Duke” despite quitting leaving the country and royal life behind years ago.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, made the claim to former rugby star Joe Marler on his podcast while completing the “intake questionnaire”.

The show features Joe playing an “unqualified pseudo-psychologist” where he invites celebrities into his clinic for probing questions and personality tests.

When quizzed about his occupation by the former England rugby man, Harry said that he was “Prince of England”, “Duke” and a “full time dad”.

Harry also revealed that he has watched Love Island during the candid chat on the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast.

He also claimed he was called “carrot top” at school but appeared to deny he had ginger hair.

The Duke of Sussex featured on the podcast today to mark one year until the Invictus Games in Birmingham in 2027.

Veteran and close friend of Harry, JJ Chalmers then joined the session to discuss the games coming to the UK next year.

Marler also asked if he’d call himself an “inventor,” referring to the Invictus Games, to which Harry corrected to “founder.”

The interview was seemingly filmed during Prince Harry‘s trip to his home country last week, as the podcast is primarily recorded at the Kennington Podcast Studios in London.

It comes as Harry and Meghan returned to the UK last week after “stepping back” from royal life and moving abroad in a shock move back in 2020.

Their brief return comes six years after their Megxit departure to the US.

Harry and Meghan declared their intention to step back as “senior” royals, work to become financially independent, and split their time between the UK and North America.

But while the Duke has appeared at public events, Meghan withdrew from all public-facing engagements – including scheduled Invictus Games countdown events in Birmingham – due to ongoing security concerns and legal disputes.

However, Harry and Meg have taken Archie and Lilibet to meet Charles and Camilla at Highgrove in Gloucestershire.

The King and Queen hosted them at the home but sources insist it was a “private family occasion” and no photos will be published.

It is the first time Charles has met his grandchildren since 2022 and only the second time he has met Lilibet, 5.

Buckingham Palace and the Sussexes are not commenting any further on the meeting which it is understood took place on Friday afternoon after Harry was in Birmingham for his Invictus Games launch.

But it is their first family gathering since the shock claims made by the Sussexes in their six-part Netflix documentary.

Since Charles met Lilibet and Archie, during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, Harry also blasted his family in his tell-all book Spare even calling Camilla a “wicked step-mother”.

Harry has met his dad alone twice in the last two years after he jetted back when he discovered he had cancer and a short face-to-face at Clarence House last September.

Discussions about the family meeting are understood to have been held ever since Harry announced months ago he would be in the UK this week.

However, he has not met with his brother William or his sister-in-law, Kate.

The Sun first revealed in January, he wanted to bring Meghan and it later emerged he would bring Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.

But plans were thrown into disarray when Harry moaned about his failure to get armed security and the King’s patience “snapped” over his dithering.

Just hours after landing, Harry was humiliated after losing his £50m media trial and blasted the court’s decision.
