Brooke Warne Announces Engagement to Long-Term Partner Alex Heath

Brooke Warne, the eldest daughter of late Australian cricket legend Shane Warne, has announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Alex Heath after more than six years together.
The happy news was shared on Instagram on Saturday, with Brooke posting a collection of photographs capturing the romantic proposal and the emotional moments that followed.
A Romantic Proposal Beneath a Rainbow

In the images, Alex can be seen getting down on one knee in the middle of a green field while a visibly surprised Brooke reacts with excitement.
Despite the chilly weather, the couple appeared completely caught up in the moment as Brooke proudly displayed her diamond engagement ring.
Another photograph showed the newly engaged pair embracing at sunset, with a rainbow stretching across the sky behind them.
“It was always us,” Brooke wrote alongside the announcement, adding engagement-ring and heart emojis.
The striking rainbow quickly became one of the most meaningful details of the proposal, particularly for Brooke’s family.
Simone Callahan Shares an Emotional Message

Brooke’s mother, Simone Callahan, was among the first to congratulate the couple, describing them as a beautiful match and suggesting the rainbow may have been a sign from Brooke’s late father.
Simone said Shane would have been “over the moon” celebrating the news and expressed her excitement about welcoming Alex more formally into the family.
Brooke’s younger brother Jackson also responded with a light-hearted message, writing: “Wowwww I have a brother!”
The announcement attracted messages from several well-known Australians, including Brendan Fevola, Rebecca Harding, Olivia Molly Rogers, Anna McEvoy, Domenica Calarco and Lana Wilkinson.
Friends and followers praised the couple’s relationship and wished them happiness as they prepared for their next chapter together.
More Than Six Years Together

Brooke and Alex have been dating for a little over six years, having celebrated their sixth anniversary in September 2025.
At the time, Brooke marked the occasion by sharing a series of affectionate photographs documenting different moments from their relationship.
“Six years of you and I, AH. Happy Anniversary,” she wrote.
The post once again prompted speculation that an engagement could be approaching, with one follower encouraging Alex to finally “put a ring on it”.
Engagement rumours had also surfaced during a trip to the Greek island of Milos, when Brooke posted a video of herself and Alex enjoying a playful moment together.
Some followers believed the clip was about to end with Alex proposing, although the anticipated moment did not happen at the time.
Brooke Previously Said She Was Not Ready for Marriage
The engagement comes after Brooke revealed in March 2025 that she was not yet ready to plan a wedding because she was still processing the death of her father.
Speaking on YouTube, Brooke said she believed she and Alex would eventually marry, but explained that her family had endured an extremely difficult three years.
She said marriage was not something she wanted to rush while she was still navigating the grief and major changes that followed Shane’s passing.
The cricket icon died on March 4, 2022, at the age of 52 while staying on the Thai island of Koh Samui. His death was attributed to a suspected heart attack.
A New Chapter for the Warne Family
For Brooke and her family, the proposal appears to represent more than simply an engagement.
After years marked by grief, the announcement has brought a joyful new beginning, made even more emotional by the rainbow that appeared above the couple during their celebration.
With their families and friends now sharing in the excitement, Brooke and Alex are preparing to begin the next stage of a relationship that has already lasted more than six years.
