A Smooth Start as a Family of Four
Pat said while meeting his daughter was a moment he and partner Emma will never forget – her arrival didn’t quite go to plan.
‘She was 15 days overdue, so in food terms, she was definitely well done,’ Pat laughed. ‘There was going to be an induction, but a few curveballs on the day meant it ended up being an emergency C-section. It was a very stressful and full-on few weeks.’
Pat and his fiancée Emma have been together since 2013.
The council worker revealed that he decided to propose to his partner the day they moved in together.
‘The funny thing was she’s a teacher and it was Book Week, so she was still dressed as Miss Trunchbull from Matilda,’ he previously said of his proposal.
MasterChef Australia airs Monday to Wednesday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 7pm on Network Ten and 10.
