Melissa George has quietly welcomed her fourth child, sharing the surprise news through a series of Instagram photos that offered a rare glimpse into her life as a mother of four.
The Home and Away actress, 49, appeared in a joint Instagram post with former Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements on Sunday. The post revealed that Melissa had recently given birth to a baby boy, though the newborn’s name has not yet been publicly shared.
The identity of the baby’s father has also not been revealed, in keeping with Melissa’s famously private approach to her personal life.
From the Maternity Ward to a Road Trip
In the first image, Melissa was seen breastfeeding her newborn son, while other photos captured moments from her travels through France, including stops along the French Riviera.
The caption, written by Kirstie Clements, suggested that Melissa had gone from giving birth straight into a busy travel schedule.
“From the maternity ward, straight into a Parisian heatwave (with a toddler…challenging) and now to an epic road trip through Provence and the Côte d’Azur,” Kirstie wrote, adding the hashtags “#superwoman” and “#motheroffoursons.”
The post also showed snippets from the trip, including moments featuring Melissa’s young son Lyor, who was born in 2024.

In January 2024, the Perth-born actress surprised her followers when she confirmed she was pregnant with her third child. Two months later, she announced the birth of her baby boy with a black-and-white photo of the newborn’s feet.
“Welcome to the world my little man,” Melissa wrote at the time.
“Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full.”
She did not reveal Lyor’s name until later, continuing her pattern of keeping major family details largely out of the spotlight.
A Private Life Based in Paris
Melissa is already mother to sons Raphaël, 12, and Solal, 11, whom she shares with her former partner, French entrepreneur Jean-David Blanc.
Due to a custody arrangement, her older children cannot leave France with their mother without their father’s consent. As a result, Melissa has been based in Paris for several years.
The actress has not publicly confirmed whether she is currently in a relationship, nor has she revealed the father of her two youngest sons.
Melissa was previously married to Chilean furniture designer and film director Claudio Dabed from 2000 to 2011.
