The jungle may have wrapped for another year – but insiders say Network 10 is already quietly plotting its biggest season yet.
Executives are exploring the idea of an all-star edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia for a potential 2027 launch, following the massive success of the UK’s recent returning favourites format.
And if the whispers are true, it could see some of the franchise’s most iconic campmates heading back into the South African jungle for another shot at glory.
‘There’s definitely conversations happening behind the scenes,’ one well-placed TV insider told Daily Mail.
‘The UK All Stars season proved audiences still deeply care about former campmates years later. Australia has a huge pool of personalities now and producers know there’s real nostalgia attached to the show.’
The insider said Network 10 executives were particularly impressed by the social media engagement and streaming numbers generated by this year’s season, which crowned comedian and Triple J host Concetta Caristo the Queen of the Jungle.

‘This season massively overperformed digitally,’ the source claimed.
‘The chemistry between contestants like Concetta, Luke and Cyrell really reignited interest in the franchise online. It reminded producers what works best – chaotic personalities, emotional vulnerability and unexpected friendships.’
Former Bachelor star Luke Bateman quickly became one of the breakout stars of the 2026 season, while Cyrell Paule delivered the kind of explosive jungle moments viewers have come to expect from the former Married At First Sight villain-turned-fan favourite.
According to another production source, casting discussions for a potential all-star season are already centring around former winners, fan favourites and contestants who created major viral moments during their time in camp.
‘The focus wouldn’t necessarily just be winners,’ the insider explained.
‘They want people who created iconic TV. Big personalities. Unexpected friendships. People who genuinely entertained audiences.’
Network 10 stopped short of confirming the rumours when approached by Daily Mail.
‘We love the enthusiasm and passion viewers continue to have for the show,’ a spokesperson said.

Among the biggest names tipped as potential returnees are former winners including Abbie Chatfield, Skye Wheatley, Sam Thaiday, Liz Ellis and celebrity chef Miguel Maestre.
Other fan favourites frequently mentioned by viewers include Barry Hall and Lauren Brant, whose real-life romance famously began in the jungle back in 2015.
Reality stars including Callum Hole, Reggie Bird, Jess Eva and Matty J Johnson have also emerged as strong contenders among fans online.
Then there are the campmates who simply delivered unforgettable television – including Julia Morris favourite boxing star Harry Garside, comedian Dave Hughes, and social media star Skye Wheatley, whose jungle stint completely transformed her public image.
One insider said producers would likely prioritise contestants who still generate headlines years after appearing on the show.

The insider added that this year’s jungle friendship between Concetta and Luke also caught executives off guard.
‘Nobody expected viewers to become that emotionally invested in them,’ the source said.
‘The online reaction was huge. Producers absolutely notice that kind of chemistry.’
Concetta ultimately beat Luke and veteran actor Gary Sweet to take out the 2026 crown, winning $100,000 for domestic violence charity Full Stop Australia.
But with rumours of an all-star season now swirling, fans may not have seen the last of the jungle queen just yet.
