Good Morning Britain sparked backlash as they reported on Meghan Markle‘s latest video, which saw her dancing in her hospital suite to try and induce labour. Meghan posted the video on Instagram, sharing that she had been one week overdue with both of her children, and had been dancing to try and induce labour. She and Harry both performed the “Baby Mama” dance, where heavily pregnant women dance to try and induce labour. The video has sparked backlash, with Meghan being accused of “invading her own privacy” by sharing the video.
Good Morning Britain shared a news report of the video with the caption: “A video of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex twerking has gone viral after being released by Meghan, to celebrate the 4th birthday of their daughter Lilibet. It shows the couple dancing in hospital, while they were waiting for her to be born.”

Polly Bartlett reported: “In a dress accessorised with a hospital bracelet, Meghan shows off her impressive moves as she twerks to the Baby Mama dance. There is even a cameo from Prince Harry. It is not known if these moves did induce her labour, but some medics do suggest movement and dancing is recommended by the NHS.
“Since rejoining Instagram at the start of her year, Meghan has been sharing rare glimpses into her life. This video, though, is perhaps the most surprising yet, a moment made public by a couple who announced they were leaving the spotlight five years ago.”
But as the show dedicated a report to the video, viewers rushed to social media to share their frustration, claiming it “wasn’t news”. One said: “This isn’t news, so I switched over,” as another agreed: “How does this make it into the news?”

A third raged: “Embarrassing & cringeworthy. If they really want privacy & respect then Why for the love of god dont they just give up their royal titles & make a fresh start?! Are they both really so narcissistic?! They’re certainly coming over that way. Megan’s bump doesn’t even look real!” A fourth said: “If you have to show that again, please please put a health warning up, my breakfast almost came up.”
Meghan posted on Instagram: “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates . . . so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work — there was only one thing left to do!”
