Adam Thomas has broken his silence on the row he had with football star Jimmy Bullard while appearing on I’m A Celebrity South Africa
Iâm A Celebrity South Africa star Adam Thomas has spoken out about his clash with fellow campmate Jimmy Bullard.
Earlier this week, viewers were left stunned when the ITV show was thrown into chaos following a heated argument between Adam and Jimmy.
Tensions flared between the pair after Jimmy put their spot in camp in jeopardy by refusing to take part in a trial, which would have ultimately sent two people home.
Jimmy, who was paired with Adam, knew that this time, opting out would mean both of them would have to pack their bags. But Jimmy unexpectedly bowed out prematurely, leaving Adam fuming.

In a heated exchange, Adam shouted: “Are you f***ing taking the p***?” But because Jimmy didn’t attempt to take on the trial at all, presenters Ant and Dec asked the campers if Adam could still stay, and they agreed that he should still be given another chance.
Since then, Adam, who is a finalist on this year’s spin-off, has shared his take on what happened. He told ITV: “It was just really random and unexpected to be honest.
“I didn’t see it coming. Safe to say, I don’t think I was too happy about it. The fact I felt like I was leaving because of someone else just really broke my heart more than anything as I wanted to do my kids proud.

“Emotions can get the better of you in there and in hindsight, I probably would never have reacted the way I did but I was just really upset.”
Adam and Jimmy’s explosive exchange has led to much speculation online as well as claims that Adam felt he was being “bullied” by boxer David Haye in camp.
But more recently, fellow campmate Craig Charles has revealed that the row between Adam and Jimmy was much more “traumatic” than viewers realise.

Appearing on ITV’s This Morning on Friday (April 24) alongside finalists Mo Farah and Harry Redknapp, the Red Dwarf star said: “That brings us to the Jimmy incident; they watered down the Jimmy Bullard incident. It was unbroadcastable as it was. It was deeply traumatic, and it was really upsetting.”
“Adam was so wound up, he was so aggressive, it looked like he was going to attack Jimmy, he was dropping F bombs and C bombs,” he revealed.
