STAR’S STRUGGLEĀ
Niall Horan fears heāll need major surgery for debilitating health problem & says āI was f****d from the day I was bornā
HE loves to spend his time playing golf, walking his dog and enjoying the occasional pint at his local.
Now Niall Horanās body is living up to his OAP lifestyle, because aged just 32, heās admitted his hips are āgoingā and he fears he may need a double hip op, just like his dad.
The One Direction star had reconstructive surgery on his knee in 2014 and then needed injections in his other knee nine years later after tearing a tendon.
So he reckons itās his genetics that have let him down, and suggested itās just a matter of time until he needs an intervention.
The Slow Hands singer admitted: āMy knees are f****ed.
āThe hips are going now too.
āI think I was just genetically f***ed from the day I was born.
āMy dad is 66 this year.
āHeās just had a knee replacement.
āHeās had a hip done 18 months ago.
āHeās getting another hip done now.ā
When it was pointed out that his father is double his age, he replied: āI know, but it was clearly in there.
āMy uncle had two knees done.
āLike, itās a thing.
āI think I was just ruined from the day I was born.ā
Fans will be hoping Niall can still move his hips on stage after last night announcing a six-date UK arena tour, starting in Birmingham on September 22.
For his fourth album Dinner Party ā which is released on June 5 ā he admits his girlfriend Amelia was the āmuseā for many of the songs.
And he may even have a song to rival his pal Harry Stylesā euphemistic hit, Watermelon Sugar, which is about the female orgasm.
Niall said: āTastes So Good and Monochromatic are probably on the sexier side of things.
āThey give a little bit more detail.ā
While Monochromatic is about being nude, the former track features the lyric: āI donāt know what youāre made of, but it tastes so good to me.ā
Some other songs are a bit more soppy, because asked how Amelia reacted when she heard it, he said: āShe did a lot of crying.ā
And he has confessed he owes a fan a writing credit for a lyric on his upcoming track Flowers.
On The Zach Sang Show podcast, he explained: āIt came from a tweet.
āIād posted something and one of the fans had written underneath it, āYour eyes could grow flowers.ā
āI just thought that was a really cool concept, straight from a fan.
āI need to find that person because I need to give them their writing credit.ā
LOUISāS TEARS FOR LIAM
LOUIS TOMLINSON shed a tear for late One Direction bandmate Liam Payne during an emotional set at the start of his third solo tour this week.
Fans noticed how he looked visibly upset as he played Dark To Light from his latest album How Did I Get Here? for the first time in Hamburg, Germany.
Louis penned the track about struggling to cope after Liamās death in October 2024.
After a series of shows across Europe, the tour will reach the UK next month.
Iām sure Liam would be very proud of how Louis has made a success of his solo career.
DUAāS DIAMOND LIFE
DUA LIPAĀ proved diamonds are a girlās best friend at a fancy Bvlgari party inĀ Italy, as she earns even more millions from her brand deals.
Dua, who is a global ambassador for the jewellery company, wore a purple bra top under a black velvet dress to the event.
A string of high-end brands have signed deals with the singer over the years, and she is being handsomely rewarded.
Dua is also the face of Porsche and YSL Beauty, and last week signed up to join George Clooney as a brand ambassador for posh coffee machine company Nespresso.
No wonder she always seems to be on holiday ā she must be raking it in.
JON PUP FOR GIGS
JON BATISTEĀ was in the dog house at this yearās Oscars ā but not in the way you might think.
The eight-time Grammy winner told me he and his author wife Suleika Jaouad have a quirky tradition of rescuing a pup every time they head to Los Angeles for the big night, and this year they doubled up.
In an exclusive chat, Jon, left, said: āThe main reason we went to the Oscars this year was to pick up two new dogs.
āItās a tradition of ours.
āEvery time we go, we come back with a dog and this time we came back with two.
āTheyāre very, very miniature chihuahuasā.ā.ā.ā incredibly furry with white fur and big eyes.ā
Jon, who starred in Channel 4 show The Piano alongside Mika and Claudia Winkleman, has more memorable nights on the horizon with his four-night residency at North Londonās Koko from June 24 to 28.
He said: āWhat I love about this residency is that it allows me to take things from my entire history and share them in this brand new way.
āWith everything that Iāve learned today as a musician, as a person, as an artist, I have evolved and expanded.
āSo even playing my old records now, itās a brand new experience.
āThe guests are just gonna be spectacular.
āThere are some very, very well-known and very celebrated friends of mine who are going to join.ā
With that line-up, and a couple of new four-legged fans waiting at home, it certainly sounds like quite the show.
Tickets are on sale for his shows at livenation.co.uk.
CHAKA NOT EVERY WOMAN
SOUL diva Chaka Khan is unimpressed with younger women in pop who dance provocatively to get attention.
Speaking to Jessie Ware on the Table Manners podcast, which is out today, she said: āThe game has changed.
āAll bets are off.
āThese women are doing any and every damn thing on stage and trying to sing, too.ā
Chaka, whose Seventies hit Iām Every Woman is still a party favourite, added: āThe ones who are doing the most physicalities with their butts and stuff, and their body parts are the ones that usually are compensating for what they donāt have.
āI came to sing, and I came to really do a good job, and thatās hard work.ā
SAM FENDER,Ā Lily Allen, Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi are among the first recipients of the Nordoff and Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards 2026.

Composer and pianist Einaudi receives Innovation in Music award while Max gets the Contemporary Music prize.
GLASTO SEND OFF SUITS ZOE
ZOE BALL wants to be partying in the afterlife ā after revealing she wants her ashes scattered in the party area at Glastonbury festival.
She told the Where Thereās a Will, Thereās A Wake podcast: āCould some of my friends take some of my ashes to Glastonbury during the festival?
āThat is the place where Iāve had the most fun with my friends, with my kids.
āI love the idea that one of the afternoons or evenings or up at Shangri-La, your mates get together and everybody takes a little bit and youāre going to scatter it around at the rave.
āSo youāre forever in that fabulous place, because Iāve had so much fun there.
āI love that place.ā
Me too, Zoe.
OASIS BOOK IS THE REEL DEAL
THEY ended their feud for their 2025 comeback tour, now Oasis brothersĀ LiamĀ and Noel Gallagher are letting us into their family photo album to show how good the gigs were.
They are releasing a book of unseen images taken on the road last year, featuring 1,000 photos celebrating their legacy.
The Oasis Live ā25 Opus is the official photographic chronicle and Simon Emmett, who took the iconic photograph of the brothers walking back on stage on the opening night in Cardiff together after so many years apart, collaborated with them on it.
He said: āWhen I saw the reaction to the photo, it was obvious to me that this wasnāt a single event.
āThe photograph was the beginning of something.
āI felt strongly that this needed to be documented.ā
There will be four editions and fans will be racing to the stores in May when one of the hardbacks, titled the Live Forever Edition, will be available to buy.
In true Gallagher style, these wonāt be any average books.
The Wonderwall Edition comes in a clamshell case, weighs 12kg, and will come with a commemorative ticket.
