Police officer Bradley Corke, 27, dies in line of duty in horror crash that left another cop critically injured

A POLICE Officer has tragically died after being critically injured in the line of duty.
PC Bradley Corke, 27, died in a horror crash which has left another colleague fighting for his life in hospital.

A member of the public whose vehicle was involved in the collision is also being treated in hospital for serious injuries.
Kent Police said: “Bradley selflessly gave up his life while trying to save the lives of others who were in danger.
“His bravery, dedication, and passion for helping others will not be forgotten.”
The officers were responding to an emergency call on Thursday evening when their vehicle collided with another at a junction of the A20 in Kent.
A police statement after the crash confirmed three people had been taken to hospital in London.
Bradley sadly died of his injuries yesterday, while the other officer remains in critical condition.
The member of the public also remains in hospital, where they are being treated for serious injuries from the horror crash.
Bradley had served with the force since May 2022, based in Tonbridge.
The force said his family and colleagues were “devastated” by the news of his tragic death.
It launched a desperate appeal for further information about the collision.
The incident occurred on Thursday around 7.45pm on the A20 London Road in Farningham, at the junction with Button Street.
A marked Ford Focus police car is understood to have collided with a blue VW Scirocco hatchback in the fatal crash.
