Showing their less serious side, the royals have always enjoyed mingling with the legendary Saint Nicholas during the Christmas period – and young Prince William and Prince Harry were no exception. Long before the brothers, now aged 43 and 41, became estranged following Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle, and number of bombshell allegations in his memoir Spare and their Oprah Winfrey interview, they appeared to enjoy a typical brotherly bond.

He began his Twitter post with a loud “Ho, ho, ho,” before talking about the challenges of the holiday season for military families who have lost someone on active duty. Harry also donned a fetching red Santa hat with braids while deployed in Afghanistan back in 2012. (

Dressed smartly in shirts and ties, the brothers both looked as good as gold, while William clutched a present on his lap.
