THE sister of Scotstown stars Jason and Shane Carey brought her wedding to a halt to watch her brothers win the Ulster club football title.
The Monaghan club made history by vanquishing Kilcoo at BOX-IT Athletic Grounds in Armagh on Saturday.

While Shane and Jason were hard at work doing so, their sister Laura was getting married to Monaghan GAA star Ryan McAnespie.
With the game entering its closing stages, however, all eyes were fixed on what was happening on the TV screen, including those of the bride.
Videographer Jamie Donovan captured what happened next, with Laura jumping for joy at the sight of her brothers becoming Ulster champions.
The wedding celebrations themselves were extensive, starting with the ceremony at St Maryâs Church in Scotstown on Saturday morning.
This was followed by drinks and canapes at Darver Castle, a 15th century castle located in Louth that has become a popular location for weddings.
Accommodation was plentiful and included the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk, The Old Parochial House in Loughantarve, Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort in Ballymascanlan, and Imperial Hotel in Dundalk.
Day two festivities on Sunday included Darver Castle, Colemanâs, and Scarna Inn in Emyvale, where there was live music, food, and dancing.
McAnespieâs hometown club Emyvale paid tribute to the newlyweds on social media.
A post read: âA huge congratulations to our senior team player Ryan McAnespie and his fiancĂ©e Laura Carey as they celebrate their wedding day today!
âEveryone at Emyvale GAA Club sends our very best wishes to you both as you begin this next chapter together.
âWishing you a lifetime filled with love, happiness and many great days ahead.
âEnjoy every moment of your special day.â
There was an issue on the day for members of Laura Careyâs family, however, with her aforementioned brothers missing her wedding for the Ulster final.
Head coach David McCague praised Lauraâs sacrifice.
He said: âIt consumes us, it really does consume us.
âYou can see what it means. These two men had a sister who got married today.
âI want to give a special mention to Laura Carey.
âShe sacrificed these men at her wedding and this family have got their rewards.
âThere wasnât a word about it. Nobody came to me and asked, âDavid, what will we do?â
âFootball came first. If you talk to people in our parish, football comes first.â
