Strictly’s Ellie Goldstein teases ‘coming soon’ in major move after show exit
The model and actress and her dance partner Vito Coppola lost their place in the BBC dance competition earlier this month
Ellie Goldstein has declared ‘coming soon’ as she teased a major move just weeks after her Strictly Come Dancing exit.
The model and actress and her dance partner Vito Coppola lost their place in the competition following the show’s Halloween special, which took place at the very start of November.
Ellie and Vito landed in the dreaded bottom two alongside EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon after their last performance saw them tango to Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra.
Their magic-themed performance, which saw Ellie pulling her dance partner, dressed as a bunny, out of a hat, was praised by the judges, receiving 27 out of a possible 40 points.
But after they had to perform against Balvinder and Julian in the dance-off, the judges delivered a unanimous verdict as Anton du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse all opted to save Balvinder and Julian.
Head Judge Shirley Ballas, who had this week’s casting vote, confirmed she would have made the same decision, though she praised Ellie’s efforts throughout the competition, calling her “outstanding”.
Ellie and Vito have continued dancing together since their time in the BBC One dance contest came to an end, with them recently sharing what their Jive could have looked like if their time on the show continued.
But away from performing, Ellie is continuing to be a star in her own right and has seemingly teased a big interview that will be shared soon.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 23-year-old posted a picture of herself and Married at First Sight UK expert and podcast host Paul C. Brunson.
Alongside the beaming snap, Ellie wrote: “Great morning spent with the lovely @paulcbrunson for @needtotalk.” She added: “Coming soon…”
It comes after Ellie was seen rubbing shoulders with the stars of the musical movie Wicked: For Good. The European premiere of the upcoming second film took place in London on Monday night (November 10) and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were pictured holding hands as they stepped out in Gothic gowns at the event.
Taking to Instagram, Ellie revealed she was among the stars who also hit the red carpet, and was even seen spending time with pop star Ariana.
Sharing a picture of the pair to her Stories, she said: “Such a dream meeting @arianagrande #wickedforgood.” She then went on to share more photos and videos to her main grid, including her with actress Cynthia.
Alongside the post, Ellie wrote: “Such a magical night @wickedmovie premier, meeting the @arianagrande @cynthiaerivo again made it more special so grateful to be part of this. #wickedforgood #wicked #wickedmovie #dreamsisterjane.”
